KHAO SOK

Par un bon matin chaud de janvier nous partimes avec une nouvelle motocyclette de 150 cm3 ( plus rapide pour tomber) vers le Nord.

We left in a warm day of January to the North with a new motorcycle (150 cm3, easier for falling)

Khao Sok est une petite ville endormie, parfaite pour y trouver un bungalow avec vue...

Khao Sok is a little slippy town, great to find a bungalow with a view...

Sur la route deja des pics...

On the road already some bergs

Puis au hasard, nous trouvons une grotte nichee dans le calcaire...

By accident we find a cave in the rock...

 

 Puis nous decouvrons le parc naturel vieux de 160 millions d’annees couvert par une foret tropicale peuplee de gibbons, calaos, pythons, tigres, leopards... Il y a environ 30 ans un barrage y a ete construit, noyant 170 Km2 de ce sanctuaire de vie sauvage. Le meilleur moyen de voir le parc est d’emprunter un bateau a longue queue comme on dit ici.

And then we discover the natural parc of 160 millions years old covered by a tropical forest full of gibbons, calaos, pythons, tigers, leopards... 30 years ago the Thai buid a damm and fload 170Km2 of this wild life. The best to visit the parc is to rent a long tail boat...

Puis deux heures d’enchantement...

2 hours of a great show...

De minuscules bungalows pour 200 euros la nuit...

Evidemment on va faire un tour sur ces bambous, pour voir, comme au poker !

Puis le retour

The way back...

Le lendemain, arret chez un paysan qui a un bel outil pour decrocher les noix de coco !

Next day a stop to see a farmer who has a great tool to pick the coco nuts from the trees...

Comme il fait une chaleur a crever on s’arrete aux bains du coin... avec un bassin a 45 degres minimum !

As it is very warm, we stop to a thermal bath... with one bassin at 45 degres celcius minimum!

Dans ce bain, je ferai ma plus belle photo...

In that bath I achieve my best picture...

Puis repos avec une glace

A rest with an icecream

 

Sur la route du retour... ne me demandez pas ce qu’il transporte !

Do not ask me with what this truck is loaded ?

Et ma marotte... le bois, pas la prison a oiseaux !

And my hobby... the wood not the bird prison

 

 

250Km effectues,sans oublier la feerie de chaque soir...
